Page Switcher can be used to control which one of two different pages your visitors will see when they come to your website. This Page Switcher script can be used to control which one of two different pages your visitors will see when they come to your website. For example, you could set up a webpage to advertise your mailing list to non-subscribers. This page (referred to as the "advert page") will then be displayed to people who haven't subscribed when they come to your website. Existing subscribers will instead see a different page, usually your homepage. This is useful as it allows you to present your case to potential subscribers using a full page ad, without annoying existing subscribers. You don't have to use the Page Switcher to advertise your mailing list. You could use it to advertise an affiliate program, your own product, the only requirement is that you are able to send people to your own "Thankyou" page afterwards. This allows the script to tag the user with a cookie, so that the next time they visit your site they can be identified as having accepted your offer already and will be sent directly to your homepage. This script is compatible with most of the major search engine spiders, which will see your normal homepage and not your full page advert. One thing to note is that cookies must be enabled for the Page Switcher to work. If they're disabled, the advert page will always be shown.
